N1 from Cape Town: leave the motorway at Exit 57 and follow signs to Franschhoek (R45). N2 from Cape Town and Airport: leave at Exit 33 (R310) for Stellenbosch. Turn Left at the T junction lights in Stelenbosh and follow the road until you see the turn to Franchhoek on your right (R310). From the Garden route on the N2 turn off at Grabouw and drive towards Villersdroop. Take the turn to Franschhoek on the left about 9 kilometres before Villersdorp. 
There are no signs to Guest Houses on the Franschhoek main road so please make sure you have these directions with you. From Cape Town: as you enter the village, take De Wet Street on your left, immediately after the Place Vendome shopping centre (Café Chocolatier is on the corner). At the first junction Ashbourne House is on your right, parking & reception bell are to the rear of the property on De Wet Street. (If you pass the BP garage on your left you’ve missed us!) From the Franschhoek Pass: turn right at the monument and drive down the main street until you see the BP garage on your right. After the BP take the first on the right, De Wet Street (Café Chocolatier is on the corner). At the first junction Ashbourne House is on your right, parking & reception bell are to the rear of the property on De Wet Street. |
